The American Ultra II Meteora Bass boasts a select alder body with sculpted contours, offering both style and comfort. The quartersawn maple neck, featuring a Modern D profile and an Ultra Satin finish, allows for smooth and effortless playability. Choose between an ebony or quartersawn maple fingerboard, each with a 10”-14” compound radius, medium-jumbo frets, Ultra rolled edges, and Luminlay® side dots. A Graph Tech® TUSQ® nut, tapered neck heel, and convenient truss rod access add to its exceptional design, making higher frets easily accessible.

At the heart of this bass are custom-designed Haymaker™ bass humbuckers that provide a huge tonal palette—powerful lows, punchy mids, and clear highs, all hum-free. The advanced preamp gives you precise tonal control with S-1™ switching for active/passive modes, a passive tone control, and a 3-band active EQ with a switchable midrange frequency. Built for the road, it includes a HiMass™ bridge (top-load or string-through), Fender lightweight tuners, knurled aluminum knobs, and a durable 1-ply anodized aluminum pickguard.
