Seymour Duncan STL-1 "Vintage '54" pickup for Fender Telecaster. Bridge position. In 1954, Fender made some changes in the Telecaster lead pickup. Smaller diameter magnets were used and the center pole pieces extended closer to the strings. The result was a strong, clear response to high notes -- a bright and biting sound.
