This Kluson plate mounted 6 inline tuning machine set has oval plastic (butter beanshaped) buttons and the improved 18:1 gear ratio for more stable and accurate tuning. The housing and button style are period correct for 19651969 production dates. These feature the standard Kluson string post. This set comes complete with 6 bass side tuners mounted on a single plate and all mounting hardware. 8.8mm O.D. vintage bushings with 1/4 in. I.D. Please note these have a different post spacing than the 6 in line individual tuners common to Fender electric guitars such as the Stratocaster and Telecaster. Post to Post Spacing= 29/32 in. E to E Spacing= 4 9/16 in Length of baseplate= 5 7/8 in. Post height = 1 in. Period Correct For 1965 - 1969 Production Dates. Use combined with treble side sets for 12 string applications or as a plate mounted set for a right handed instrument.
